Sachets are always a nice gift when you want to give someone a small remembrance. Tulle /organza sachet bags and satin sachet pillows are simple to make.
Tulle/organza sachet bags: Cut a 10” by 15” rectangle of tulle or organza. Fold it in half and sew narrow seams. Turn and fill with potpourri. Tie with a festive ribbon and you have a nice little gift.
Satin sachet pillows: Cut two 5” rectangles. Wrong sides together, sew narrow seams on three sides. Turn and stuff with potpourri or with a little cotton batting and some potpourri. Turn under the raw edge of the opening and slipstitch together. Add lace, ribbon, or flowers for a more decorative touch.
