Poppies are the traditional way to honor Veterans in both the United States and Canada.

A salute to all of our Veterans who have served us so admirably. Some creative crafters have come up with ideas to honor these heroes. Here are just a couple which caught my eye. In Abilene, Kansas quilters are giving quilts to injured veterans.

Cheryl of Fiber Arts and Quilting has an excellent tutorial on making fabric poppies to wear in honor of veterans.
