Stain Removers in Action

Dirt and stains are the number 1 enemy of housekeepers whether it be a blot of spaghetti sauce spotted in white shirt, spilled soda on the carpet or candle wax on the table. Stains must be attended as soon as you discover it. The longer it stays on the material, the harder it will be removed. Stained clothing is inviting to insects, thus, fabric is susceptible to damage. Never brush or rub the stained area that it will only spread the dirt, start from the edge of the stain going to the center. Pat an absorbent material over the stain to control it from spreading. Here are some of the stain removers:

  1. Chlorine and water for molds and mildew on tiles
  2. Vinegar and water to remove water stains on shower doors and faucets
  3. Aerosol hairspray to wash away ink stains
  4. Shampoo to lighten blood stains
  5. Enzyme detergent and water to remove stains of chocolate, milk, baby formula and vomit
  6. Mild synthetic detergent and water to treat stains of coffee, tea, tomato sauce, soy sauce
