What are the most profitable ways to increase my property value, landscaping, additions? please be specific.?
If only from a property value (Property Valuation Assessment) they only judge from the outside over the years, they already have the information on number of rooms, baths, etc.
To raise it, yes, landscaping, curb appeal are best. Make sure the bushes, trees are not over grown, limbs are trimmed in early years to extend the height, The shrubbery is not all say 6 cedar bushes, mixed up to bayberry bush, with other types. But do not overkill the yard with flowers, trees and shrubs, that you appear that you have a heavy maintenance of upkeep.
The house, update roofing if older, rust stains are running down the shingles, do a re-roof to give it a fresh appearance. If the home is older, take out older sash windows and replace with the kind that pop in to wash windows. Trim work, soffit, can be update with vinyl versus wood, which cuts down on paint up keep.
General yard that is always mowed, no weeds or dandelions, green as can be, edged by driveway and walkways.
Spruce up with lighting at specific areas outside the home, accent the entry way, or some landscaping, nice porch lamps are a must, and same for hardware on the door, a long handle to entry , brass gives classy feel, same with kickplate.
