Consider this your friendly neighborhood annual reminder. These days you will get a lot of people who have solar patio and garden lights on their properties to access their gardens or provide lighting along pathways and driveways. You might also have people who use a solar panel or two, like us, to charge the batteries of their electric cordless lawn mower. Well, do not let the batteries freeze. Yes, we have all noticed it is cooler in the early mornings now that the fall season is approaching. As soon as the outdoor temperature reaches even one degree below freezing damage will start to occur to the batteries in your outdoor solar lights. So, might as well start to bring them inside now or pretty soon. It could be LED solar pot lights or LED garden accent lights such as those in the picture below: As well, it could be  your solar powered mole or pest preventer like this one here in our back yard garden: Or, it could also be batteries used to charge your lawn mower like these now being recharged inside our basement: Bring them inside now so you can use them all over again outside next year.
